Non-Invasive General Cardiology - Lakeside Living - Phone Call Only

The Hospital:

• We are a 58-bed publicly owned acute care hospital in West Tennessee.
• As the area’s only hospital, we deliver vital services across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and specialty care.
• Key services include general surgery, urology, gynecology, orthopedic surgery, as well as, oncology/infusion, obstetrics, EMS, wound care, respiratory and physical therapy, and tele-nephrology. Surgical care is supported by both inpatient and outpatient facilities, including a Cancer Treatment Center. Cardiac rehab is adjacent to the clinic.
• Cerner EMR with integrated platforms for coordination across services.

The Opportunity:

• Non-invasive Cardiology position with outpatient and moderate inpatient consult responsibilities
• Clinic:
  • Patient volume: 15-17 patients/day
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Specialty Support & Referrals:

• • Cardiac rehab is adjacent to the clinic
  • NP support available 2-3 days/week.
  • Hospitalist team available for inpatient collaboration.
  • Hospitalists admit nighttime cardiology patients.
  • Stress tests, TEE, ECG, EKG capabilities.
  • FQHC network includes 5 family medicine physicians, 3 pediatricians, and 13 advanced practice providers across 5 locations — referring primarily to this hospital
• Call:
  • Very light phone call only; between 4-6 patients every 2 weeks

About the Compensation and Benefits:

• Base Salary:
  • $550,000 Base Salary
  • Plus wRVU-based bonus structure

• $50,000 Sign on Bonus
• $30,000 Relocation
• Retirement: 403(b) with up to 6% match
• 25 Days Paid Time off
• CME: 5 CME days + $5,000 annual CME allowance
• Full benefits package

• Current Cardiologist hired four years ago has retired, leaving a high need for Cardiology services in the community.
