General Locums Cardiologist Needed | Massena, NY

WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking a BC General Cardiologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in northern New York. The primary need is for daytime cardiology coverage, consultations, outpatient care, and supervision of stress testing.

Assignment Highlights

• ASAP start — emergency privileges available
• 2–3 weeks of coverage per month
• 6–9 month ongoing assignment
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
  
• Primary need is daytime coverage and cardiology consults
• Outpatient practice setting
• Supervision of stress tests
• Coverage across two nearby facilities
• Nuclear medicine reads preferred, but not required
• Epic EMR
• Travel and lodging covered

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide general cardiology consultations
• Evaluate and manage outpatient cardiology patients
• Supervise stress testing
• Provide daytime cardiology coverage
• Participate in call coverage if desired and mutually agreed upon
• Work collaboratively with the existing medical team

Requirements

• BC in Cardiology required
• Active New York medical license required
• Clean file required
  
• Comfortable working independently in a general cardiology setting
• Epic experience required
• Nuclear medicine reading experience preferred, but not required

Additional Details

• Emergency privileges may be available for qualified candidates
  
• Candidates must be available for 2–3 weeks per month
• Opportunity is expected to continue for 6–9 months
