A not-for-profit specialty hospital in New Jersey is recruiting a Noninvasive Cardiologist for an established outpatient practice. The incoming physician will serve as the practice’s permanent Cardiologist, strengthening continuity of care while building a long-term presence in a community with an existing patient backlog and strong referral potential. This position offers the autonomy to shape and grow a practice with support from a nationally recognized cardiovascular organization. Physicians benefit from no hospital rounding, no hospital call, advanced practice provider support, ambient artificial intelligence documentation technology, teaching opportunities, and a compensation model with meaningful productivity potential.

Opportunity Highlights

• Minimum starting salary of $450,000 with a two-year guarantee and transition to a wRVU unit productivity model
• Employed, outpatient-only practice with no hospital rounding or hospital coverage
• Shared office call approximately every third week, with no hospital call
• Established patient demand, community referrals, and an existing patient backlog
• Approximately 20–25 patients per day, with 40-minute new-patient appointments and 20-minute follow-up visits
• Ambient artificial intelligence technology assists with clinical documentation
• Echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, and stress-testing capabilities, with access to additional diagnostic services across the organization
• Teaching opportunities with cardiology fellows and potential eligibility for an adjunct appointment at Thomas Jefferson University
• Private physician office, dedicated electronic equipment, and two to three exam rooms available based on volume

Candidate Qualifications

• BE/BC in Cardiovascular Disease
• Level 2 or Level 3 Echocardiography certification
• Proficiency in clinical cardiology and stress testing
• Active New Jersey medical license or ability to obtain one
• Interest in building and growing an established outpatient practice
