The facility holds a Level 1 Trauma designation and utilizes Epic EMR, offering a dynamic and well-supported environment for cardiovascular specialists.Opportunity:
Physician - ElectrophysiologistJob Details:
- Locum and Locum-to-Perm opportunity beginning 2/1/2027 covering a vacancy need
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7AM - 5PM with call coverage included
- Call coverage includes both in-house and beeper/phone call responsibilities with approximately 9 call weekends per year
- Practice setting spans both inpatient/hospital-based and clinic environments with a 75/25 inpatient-to-outpatient split
- Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients with an average of 4-5 patients per day
- Required procedures include ablations, pacers, ICDs, and BiVs
- EMR documentation completed through Epic
- Level 1 Trauma Designation facility
- Board Certification in Electrophysiology required
- Fellowship required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- DEA required
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience required
- Ohio DEA and Medicare enrollment required; estimated credentialing timeframe is 3 months for providers with a clean file, or up to 4 months if DEA and Medicare are not already in place
- 3 providers needed; recruiting for permanent positions
- Travel reimbursements approved for airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage at IRS rate
