## Division Chief – Electrophysiology | Dayton, OH Southwest Ohio — Physician Leadership, Academic Medicine & Cardiovascular Innovation Salary Range: Competitive Executive Physician Compensation ## Position Details
- Full-time, permanent physician leadership position
- Call structure - 1 in 4 weekends with night call during the month. There is APP support for the first call.
- Leadership Role: Lead and strategically grow the Electrophysiology Division within an integrated Heart & Vascular program
- Academic Role: Faculty appointment with opportunities to advance clinical education, research, and scholarly activity
- Provide strategic leadership across clinical care, education, research, quality, and physician engagement
- Recruit, retain, develop, and oversee physicians, APPs, and section leadership
- Foster growth and excellence across Electrophysiology clinical and educational programs
- Partner with academic leadership to develop structured teaching rotations for medical students, residents, fellows, and other learners
- Serve as physician champion for clinical integration across the continuum of cardiovascular care
- Oversee hospital and practice call processes to ensure appropriate clinical coverage
- Collaborate with operational leadership to improve practice efficiency and effectiveness
- Participate in budget planning, fiscal management, and long-term divisional strategy
- Use performance and productivity data to support clinical and operational improvement
- Advance quality standards, patient experience, and community health initiatives
- Build relationships with referring physicians to strengthen continuity of care and referral pathways

- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Electrophysiology/Cardiology specialty area
- Active medical license
- 3–5+ years of leadership experience
- Active faculty appointment or ability to meet criteria for faculty appointment
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, strategic planning, and financial management skills
- Experience developing and mentoring physicians and multidisciplinary teams
