Description:
- Provide teaching, clinical, and administrative leadership for the fellowship program.
- Oversee program curriculum, fellow advancement, and fellow graduation.
- Ensure a safe clinical learning environment and program compliance with ACGME guidelines.
- Lead program faculty in coordination with DME, evaluating overall faculty competence and effectiveness.
- Physician educator acts as a role model for the OhioHealth mission and values through daily actions, decision making and priority setting.
- All cardiovascular disease fellows and faculty/consultants report to the program director.
- The program director will perform other related job duties as assigned.
- Total of 12 cardiovascular disease fellows (4 fellows per year for 3 years).
Requirements:
- Active Board Certification in General Cardiology (ABIM only)
- 3 or more years as core faculty member
- MD/DO and BC with medical licensure in the State of Ohio
- Current DEA license
- Member (or eligible for membership) in good standing of OhioHealth Medical Staff according to the bylaws
- Demonstrated clinical, teaching, and leadership abilities
Preferred:
- Experience in leadership as a DOE, assistant PD or higher
- Formal training in education theory
- Clinical practice that involves osteopathic principles and practice

Qualifications
3 or more years as core faculty member
MD/DO and BC with medical licensure in the State of Ohio
Current DEA license
