TheLucidPhysician, in collaboration with the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine (UMMSOM), South Florida’s leading research and academic institution, is seeking an Advanced Cardiovascular Imager to join its visionary Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine (UMMSOM) is the leading research institution in South Florida. UHealth, University of Miami Health System delivers world-class clinical care throughout South Florida, pioneering research in Stem Cell therapies, electrophysiology and structural heart disease, with a visionary approach to medical education. The UHealth Tower is a 500-bed hospital that offers comprehensive cardiovascular services including active programs in interventional cardiology (advanced coronary and structural interventions), electrophysiology, and cardiothoracic surgery. The UHealth Tower Flagship Hospital is part of an integrated medical campus that includes a large county hospital (Jackson Memorial Hospital) and the Miami Veterans Affair Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional clinical care and consultative services to patients with diverse cardiovascular conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in academic and educational initiatives, including teaching medical students and conducting research
- Mentor trainees, fellows, and junior faculty, while inspiring innovation in cardiovascular education.
Qualifications:
- Board certification in Cardiology
- MD/DO degree required
- Active medical license from accredited institution
- Strong clinical skills, with the ability to provide high-quality care to patients with a variety of cardiovascular conditions
- Proficiency in performing and interpreting diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, CT scans, MRI scans, and nuclear cardiology studies
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
- Experience in academic and educational initiatives, including teaching and research
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, colleagues, and hospital leadership.
- Performs in tactful and professional manner, superior patient engagement skills
