Are you a Cardiac Electrophysiology physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Minnesota might be the perfect fit for you!
Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (8-hour day with automatic unpaid 30-minute lunch). No call. No holidays. Must be able to complete two Mon-Fri stretches per month. Initial commitment of at least 6 months required. Start date: ASAP, ongoing.
- Job Setting: Outpatient; 2-4 exam rooms in clinic, 2 EP labs and OR hybrid. EMR: Epic (current experience within the last 12 months required).
- Types of Cases: Approximate mix of 60-70% clinic, 30-40% procedural. Includes AFibs, ablations, and all else. No VT, PVC, or extractions. 12 patients on clinic days; 3-4 patients on lab days.
- Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe: 45-120 days. Hospital privileges required. Temporary privileges are not available. Malpractice insurance provided by vendor.
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required.
- Certifications: Fellowship required (3 years). At least 2 years of experience working as an EP post-fellowship.
- Licensure: Active Minnesota state license or eligibility to obtain. IMLC not accepted. Licensing reimbursement not provided by facility.
