Job description
We are seeking a Cardiologist for a reopened locum opportunity in Fort Myers, Florida, with coverage needs extending from November 2026 through June 2027. Coverage will include a combination of inpatient rounding and call across multiple hospital campuses.
Assignment Details
- Assignment Window: November 16, 2026–June 30, 2027
- Adult Cardiology
- Coverage across multiple Fort Myers-area campuses
- No telehealth
Current Coverage Dates
- November 21–22
- November 28–29: Rounding only, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- December 4 at 5:00 PM–December 7 at 8:00 AM: Call coverage*
- December 12–13
- December 19–20: Rounding only, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- December 21–25
- December 26–27: Rounding only, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Schedule
- Combination of inpatient rounding and call coverage
- Rounding-only shifts: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Call required on designated coverage dates

Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide Adult Cardiology coverage

Requirements
- Cardiologist
- Clean NPDB required
- Candidates with malpractice history will not be accepted
- Active Florida license
