MUSC Health needs a general cardiologist for recurring 7-day coverage blocks on the South Carolina coast, 7 days a month, running 7am Monday to 7am Monday, starting November. Primary site is MUSC Waccamaw, with the same provider also covering call for MUSC Georgetown. Top of market pay, glad to share the actual number directly.
Job Responsibilities
MUSC GEORGETOWN (call coverage): night and weekend call, 5pm-7am daily, weekends run 5pm Friday to 7am Monday. Census about 55-60/day, cardiology inpatients are rare here. STEMI patients are admitted by the interventional cardiologist. Stress tests run Saturday and Sunday mornings at Georgetown and take priority over Waccamaw rounds those mornings.
