Cardiology position in: Nashville, TN

General Cardiology – Nashville, TN Board Certified/ Board Eligible • Full-time opportunity for a General Cardiologist in Nashville, Tennessee. • Join a collaborative cardiovascular program that includes general cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, advanced imaging cardiologists, and APPs. • Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient evaluation and management of a broad range of cardiovascular conditions. • Diagnose and manage: o Coronary artery disease o Heart failure o Hypertension o Arrhythmias o Valvular heart disease o Other cardiovascular disorders • Perform and interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, stress testing, and other non-invasive cardiac studies. • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment and prevention plans. • Provide cardiovascular consultations, pre-operative risk assessments, and appropriate post-operative management. • Collaborate with primary care physicians, hospitalists, emergency medicine, surgeons, nurses, APPs, and other specialists. • Participate in multidisciplinary conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and cardiovascular program development. • Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health, prevention, and disease management. • Opportunity to participate in teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and APPs. • Potential for an academic appointment, clinical research, scholarly activities, and teaching rounds. • Help support the delivery of high-quality, equitable cardiovascular care to a diverse and underserved community. Qualifications • MD or DO degree. • Completion of Internal Medicine residency and Cardiovascular Disease fellowship. • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease. • Two years of cardiovascular experience preferred; exceptionally trained new graduates will be considered. • Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills. • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. • Interest in serving diverse and underserved patient populations.
