Inpatient Cardiology Hospitalist - Baltimore, MD ### The Opportunity Seeking a BC/BE Inpatient Cardiology Hospitalist to practice primarily within a comprehensive cardiovascular program. This is an outstanding opportunity for a cardiologist who enjoys the complexity of inpatient cardiovascular medicine and is looking for a predictable 7-days-on/7-days-off schedule with strong physician and APP team support.

• 100% inpatient cardiology ‚Äî no routine outpatient clinic responsibilities
• New graduates and experienced cardiologists encouraged to apply ### Clinical Responsibilities
• Inpatient cardiology consultations and daily rounding on complex cardiac patients
• Management of acute decompensated heart failure, acute coronary syndromes, arrhythmias, valvular disease, cardiomyopathies, and other cardiovascular conditions
• Coordination with Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Structural Heart, Heart Failure, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Critical Care, and Hospital Medicine
• Partnering with APPs to provide timely and efficient inpatient cardiovascular care
• Facilitating appropriate transitions of care and communication with outpatient providers
• Supporting quality, patient safety, length of stay, readmission reduction, and patient experience initiatives
• Education and mentorship of APPs, residents, medical students, and nursing staff ### Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
• Maryland medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Eligible for hospital privileges
• Strong clinical skills in hospitalized cardiovascular patient management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Preferred experience in echocardiography (including TEE) and nuclear cardiology interpretation ### Compensation & Benefits
• Guaranteed base salary: $400,000 ‚Äì $600,000 (dependent on specialty, board certification, and experience)
