Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled cardiologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. The role primarily involves non-invasive cardiology, focusing on outpatient care with periodic inpatient duties. This position offers a balanced schedule, a supportive team environment, and access to comprehensive resources to provide exceptional patient care.
Function
The job function group includes 8 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) that assist with cardiology. The role involves non-invasive cardiology and is mostly outpatient, with 1 week of inpatient duties during the rotation week. The call schedule is 1:9, including weekdays and weekends. Weekend call will involve rounding at the hospital. The hospital has a well-established diabetes educational program integrated with the practice. The electronic medical record (EMR) system provides access to all specialists.
Requirements
- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified.
- Proficiency in Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology required.
