We are seeking a Board Certified Cardiologist for an ongoing locum opportunity in Cottonwood, Arizona, beginning September 2026. This position offers a consistent Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule with a combination of hospital and outpatient clinic coverage. The clinic sees approximately 18–24 patients per day, with strong clinical support available.

Practice Setting

- Approximately 18–24 clinic patients per day

Responsibilities
- Provide General Cardiology coverage
- Evaluate and manage outpatient Cardiology patients
- Provide hospital-based Cardiology coverage
- Perform cardiac catheterization for own patients as needed
- Collaborate with the clinical and support teams
Support Staff
- Medical Assistant
- Patient Care Technician
- Nursing support
- PA support for inpatient coverage
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Cardiology
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Active Arizona medical license or IMLC LOQ required
- ACLS & BLS required
- Strong interpersonal and patient-relations skills preferred
Credentialing
- Approximately 30-day credentialing timeframe

A Board Certified Cardiologist with at least two years of experience who is comfortable providing both clinic and hospital-based General Cardiology coverage, including cardiac catheterization for their own patients. This opportunity is particularly well suited for a physician seeking ongoing weekday coverage with no weekends listed and availability for multiple consecutive coverage weeks.
