An established community hospital in Southern Illinois is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General / Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join its growing cardiology service line.

Job Responsibilities
Evaluate new and established cardiology patients.
Diagnose and manage a broad range of cardiovascular conditions.
Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations.
Participate in hospital rounds and cardiovascular care.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on current evidence and clinical guidelines.
Coordinate care with primary care physicians, specialists, nursing teams, and other healthcare professionals.
Provide patient and family education regarding cardiovascular conditions and risk reduction.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Participate in quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives.
Support the continued growth and development of the cardiology service line.
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology.
Eligible for or able to obtain an Illinois medical license.
Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a hospital-based multidisciplinary team.
Willingness to participate in inpatient cardiology coverage and call.
