General Cardiology | Ongoing Coverage
WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist for ongoing General Cardiology coverage in Arizona. This opportunity is ideal for a collaborative cardiologist who enjoys building strong relationships with patients and staff while providing comprehensive cardiovascular care in a hospital/clinic setting.
Assignment Highlights

- Patient Population: Primarily adults age 60+
- Patient Volume: Approximately 18–24 patients per day

- Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30 days

Clinical Responsibilities
The Cardiovascular Institute is seeking General Cardiology coverage to support its busy practice in the Verde Valley region. The cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care to an older adult patient population and will perform cardiac catheterization procedures for their own patients as appropriate.
The practice is supported by MAs, PCTs, nurses, and in-house PA support, providing a collaborative clinical environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Board Certified in Cardiology
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Active Arizona medical license required
- IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ) candidates will be considered
- ACLS and BLS required
- Strong interpersonal and relational skills with both patients and staff
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
