The Opportunity
Step into an established cardiology program, providing comprehensive outpatient and inpatient cardiac care across a well-supported local health system.

Clinical Scope: Deliver full-spectrum general cardiology management, including:

Conducting outpatient clinic visits, evaluations, and long-term cardiac care management

Performing inpatient consultations and daily floor rounding

Managing general cardiology cases in collaboration with hospital care teams

Documenting care via Athena EMR (clinic setting)

The Schedule: Standard weekday coverage (Monday through Friday only).

Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Inpatient Hours: Non-call rounding days (hours vary based on inpatient census)

Weekends: Zero weekend shifts required.

Call Requirements: Zero call required.

Workload & Patient Volume:

Clinic Volume: Manageable pace of 15 to 18 patients per day.

Inpatient Volume: Low, manageable rounding census.

Candidate Requirements

Board Status: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in General Cardiology.

Licensure: Active, unencumbered Connecticut State Medical License.

Clinical Capability: Comfort managing both outpatient clinic panels and inpatient cardiology rounding service lines.
