The facility provides strong support for locum providers, including housing assistance for long-term assignments, and maintains an active interventional cardiology program with both invasive and noninvasive capabilities.Opportunity:
Physician - Interventional CardiologyJob Details:
- Provide 24-hour beeper call coverage for inpatient interventional cardiology services
- Practice mix will be 75% interventional and 25% noninvasive cardiology
- NUC reading and NUC activity will be required
- Expected patient encounters of 10-15 per shift
- Shift times run 7am to 7am (24-hour call coverage)
- Active California medical license required
- Board certified or board eligible within 3-5 years of residency required
- Active DEA required
- Active fluoroscopy (FLURO) certification is required
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in the specialty required
- Any gaps greater than 3 months in clinical activity must be explained
- Current case logs must be included upon presentation
- Updated CV with all hospital affiliations must be submitted at time of presentation
- Credentialing timeframe is approximately 60-90 days
- Licensed in California only - IMLC not accepted
Compensation:
