A well-established community hospital in Southern Illinois is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible General / Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join its expanding cardiology program.
This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking a stable, long-term practice environment with a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient cardiology, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing healthcare community.
The ideal candidate will enjoy practicing in a collaborative setting with a supportive team, established referral network, and a strong focus on quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of cardiovascular conditions
Collaborate with hospital physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff
Participate in a manageable call schedule
Build strong relationships with patients and referring providers
Support continued growth of the cardiology service line
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based cardiovascular care
Qualifications
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
Eligible for or able to obtain an Illinois medical license
Strong clinical decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to patient-centered care
Preferred:
2+ years of cardiology experience preferred
Experience in a hospital-based cardiology setting
Working Hours
