A General Cardiology locum tenens opportunity is available in Cottonwood, AZ for a Board Certified Cardiologist interested in ongoing weekday coverage.
Assignment Highlights
- General Cardiology
- Monday–Friday, 8-5
- 18–24 patients per day
- Primarily 60+ patient population
- Cerner EMR
- Established clinical support staff
- MA, PCT, RN and PA support
- Two physicians within the group
- Approximately 30-day credentialing timeframe
Clinical Responsibilities
The Cardiologist will provide General Cardiology coverage in a hospital/clinic setting and manage a predominantly senior patient population. Providers may perform cath procedures for their own patients as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified in Cardiology
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Active Arizona medical license or IMLC LOQ eligibility
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Available Coverage Dates
Late August through December 2026, including multiple weekday blocks.
