We are seeking a Locum Cardiology Physician to provide comprehensive general cardiology coverage in Lewisburg, PA. The role includes outpatient clinic care, cardiac procedures, hospital responsibilities & scheduled night and 24 hour weekend call coverage.
Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate & manage adult cardiology patients
• See approximately 17–18 patients per day
• Perform cardiac procedures
• Perform nuclear cardiology reads
• Interpret stress tests
• Perform & interpret echocardiography
• Perform TEE procedures
• Perform cardioversions
• Manage echo monitors
• Provide hospital rounding
• Participate in inpatient cardiology services
• Provide night & weekend call coverage
• Collaborate with APPs & interventional cardiology providers
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Nuclear Board Certified required
• Echo Board Certified required
• CT Board Certification preferred but not required
• Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC LOQ in hand
• DEA registration required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• General cardiology experience required
• EPIC experience preferred
• Clean credentialing file preferred for temporary privileges
Working Hours
• 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• Mix of clinic, procedures & hospital responsibilities
• Night call: 5:00 PM–7:00 AM
• 24 hour call: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
• Approximately 1–2 nights of call per week
• Approximately 1:4–1:5 weekend call
• Full time coverage preferred
• Candidate should ideally be available for all listed dates

• 10/23: 5:00 PM–7:00 AM Night Call
• 10/24–10/25: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM 24 Hour Call

• 11/02–11/06: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• 11/16–11/20: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• 11/30–12/04: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• 12/04: 5:00 PM–7:00 AM Night Call
• 12/05–12/06: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM 24 Hour Call
• 1–2 weeks of RTO may be considered
• Ongoing coverage may be available
