We are seeking a General Cardiologist for a locum tenens position in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. This opportunity spans clinic, procedures, and call coverage across both clinic and hospital settings. Please see below for more information.
- 150-bed acute care hospital
- EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
Manage an adult patient population averaging 17-18 patients per day
Perform nuclear reads, stress tests, TEEs, cardioversions, and echo monitor interpretation
Round on inpatients during call coverage
Practice independently as a general cardiologist across the full scope of the service
Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania medical license - PA, IMLC ok ONLY
DEA
Working Hours
Clinic, procedures, and call
Lab three days per week
Night call, 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM
24-hour weekend call, 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
Minimal call-back volume on both nights and weekends; inpatient rounding still required
