We are seeking a Cardiologist for a locum tenens position in Greensboro, North Carolina. This is a night coverage opportunity within an acute care hospital, with the provider serving as second call. Please see below for more information.
- Acute care hospital
- Trauma Level: Adult II, III, IV
- EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
Serve as second call for cardiology coverage
Interpret echocardiograms and nuclear studies performed in the hospital
Provide care for patients admitted under the cardiac service
Maintain a manual log of all charges
Manage an adult patient population
Function independently in a hospital-based cardiology consult role, drawing on prior inpatient cardiology practice experience
Temporary pacemakers are covered by the EP on call and are not a responsibility of this role
Pager is provided by the department
Qualifications
Active North Carolina medical license required
DEA required
ACLS required
BLS required
Epic charting experience required
Working Hours
Monday - Thursday: 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM (10 hours)
Friday: 8:00 PM - 7:00 AM (11 hours)
Saturday: 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM (14 hours)
Sunday: 5:00 PM - 6:00 AM (13 hours)
