Job description
We are seeking a Cardiologist for a locum tenens position in Longview, WA. This is a combined inpatient and outpatient general cardiology opportunity requiring both clinic and hospital privileges. Please see below for more information.
- 134-bed acute care hospital
- Adult Trauma Level III/IV
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
Perform rounding and admissions
Perform invasive cardiology procedures and cardiac CT or CTA
Manage an average daily census of 13 patients
Care for an adult patient population (18+)
Practice alongside additional providers; this is not a solo coverage role
Maintain and provide documentation of clinical activity representative of the scope and complexity of privileges requested, including diagnosis or procedure, date, and facility where performed
Qualifications
Washington state license required; open to IMLC if LOQ is in hand
ACLS required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
Epic charting experience required
Proficiency in invasive cardiology and cardiac CT or CTA required
Working Hours
8-hour daily shifts
Call required: 1:6 rotation
Call week includes Monday-Friday weeknight call and 24-hour weekend call Saturday and Sunday
