We are seeking a Cardiologist for a locum tenens position in Atlanta, Georgia. This is an advanced heart failure opportunity providing weekend call coverage at an acute care hospital. Please see below for more information.
- Acute care hospital setting
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
Deliver advanced heart failure care to inpatients, including LVAD patients
Manage a weekend census averaging 80-90 patients in collaboration with an employed heart failure physician and APPs
Practice autonomously in advanced heart failure at a level consistent with at least five years of in-specialty clinical experience
Qualifications
Active Georgia medical license required; client will consider IMLC or Compact eligible candidates (they do not need to have the LOQ in hand yet)
DEA required
BLS required
ATLS required
Working Hours
Weekend call: Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM
Night coverage hours 17:00 - 7:00
