❤️ General Cardiologist – Locum Tenens Position | Pennsylvania Clinic + Procedures + Call - (DM)

We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Cardiologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Pennsylvania. This role offers a mix of outpatient cardiology, procedures, hospital coverage, and scheduled call.

Position Details

• Location: Lewisburg, PA
• Start Date: September 8, 2026
• Assignment: Ongoing
• Schedule: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• Setting: Clinic + Hospital
• Patient Population: Adults
• Patient Volume: Approximately 17–18 patients/day
• EMR: Epic
• Hospital Size: 150 beds
• Call: Night and weekend call
  • Approximately 1–2 nights of call per week
  • Weekend call approximately 1:4–1:5
  • Night callback volume is typically minimal
  • Weekend callback volume is typically minimal, but rounding is expected

Coverage Dates

• September 8–11
• September 21–25 + night call September 25
• September 26–27 – 24-hour weekend call
• October 5–9
• October 19–23 + night call October 23
• October 24–25 – 24-hour weekend call
• November 2–6
• November 16–20
• November 30–December 4 + night call December 4
• December 5–6 – 24-hour weekend call

Ideally, candidates should be available for all listed dates; 1–2 weeks of RTO may be considered.

Procedures & Clinical Responsibilities

• General cardiology clinic
• Nuclear medicine reads
• Stress testing
• TEE
• Cardioversions
• Echo monitoring
• Hospital rounding
• In-lab coverage approximately 3 days/week
• CT reading experience is a plus but not required

Requirements

• BC/BE in Cardiology
• Nuclear Medicine boarded
• Echo boarded
• CT boarded preferred, but not required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC
• DEA required
• Epic experience preferred
• Clean credentialing file preferred

Work Environment

• Collaborative clinic and hospital-based cardiology practice
• Work alongside an APP and Interventional Cardiology support
• Established cardiology team with an existing full-time physician
• Adult patient population
• Mix of outpatient evaluation, diagnostic testing, procedures, hospital rounding, and call
• Low callback volume while maintaining weekend rounding responsibilities
