Opportunity Overview
A reputable healthcare facility in Bellingham, Washington is seeking a General Cardiology physician for ongoing locum tenens coverage. This is a great opportunity for a cardiologist looking for a predictable 1-week-per-month schedule with a combination of scheduled clinical coverage and call.
Schedule

10-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Approximately 1 week per month of General Cardiology coverage

Scheduled coverage plus call responsibilities

During the coverage week:

Approximately 2 weeknight calls

Potential 24-hour weekend call as needed

Block scheduling is not available
-
Call includes 4 hours of gratis time
Clinical Details

Adult patient population
-
Approximately 8–10 patients per day

Hospital-based coverage

Approximately 247 beds
-
Rounding and admissions
-
General Cardiology procedures include:
-
Cardioversions
-
TEE
-
Approximately 2–4 TEEs per shift

APC support available Monday–Saturday at times
Qualifications
-
Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiology
-
Active Washington license preferred
-
IMLC accepted
-
ACLS and BLS required
-
Documentation of cardiovascular disease services performed within the previous 24 months is required
