Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive patient evaluations, including reviewing medical histories, conducting physical examinations, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Providing diagnosis and treatment for various cardiovascular conditions such as heart disease, arrhythmias, hypertension, and heart failure.
• Managing medication prescriptions and monitoring their efficacy, adjusting treatment plans as needed to enhance patient outcomes.
• Conducting and interpreting non-invasive cardiac tests like electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, and stress tests.
• Offering guidance on lifestyle adjustments including exercise routines, dietary habits, and stress management techniques to promote heart health and prevent disease progression.
• Coordinating patient care with other medical specialists such as cardiovascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists, and primary care physicians to ensure comprehensive treatment.

Requirements

• Board certification in Cardiology.
• Valid New York medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
