General Cardiologist Opportunity – Hospital Employed Position in Southern Illinois
A well-established community hospital in Southern Illinois is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible General / Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join its growing cardiology service line.
This is an excellent opportunity for a cardiologist seeking long-term stability, a balanced inpatient and outpatient practice model, and the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative physician team with strong clinical and administrative support.

Candidate Requirements:
- MD or DO degree

Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive non-invasive cardiology care
Perform cardiac evaluations and develop treatment plans
Collaborate with hospitalists, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams
Participate in call responsibilities
Build strong relationships with patients and referral providers
Qualifications
MD or DO degree
Completion of Cardiology Fellowship
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
Eligible for Illinois medical licensure
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of cardiology practice experience
Community hospital experience
Experience managing both inpatient and outpatient cardiology cases
Working Hours
Description:
Monday-Friday schedule with shared call responsibilities. Specific schedule details will be discussed during the interview process.
