Job description
We are seeking a General Cardiologist for a locum tenens position in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. This is an acute care hospital opportunity spanning clinic, procedures, and call coverage. Please see below for more information.
- 150-bed facility
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
• Carry a daily patient load of approximately 17 to 18 patients
• Perform and interpret nuclear reads, stress tests, TEEs, cardioversions, and echo monitors
• Work in the lab approximately three days per week
• Perform CT reads where within the provider's existing practice scope
• Treat an adult patient population
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers
• Provide weeknight and weekend call coverage, including weekend rounding
Qualifications
• Nuclear cardiology board certification
• Echocardiography board certification
• Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC
• DEA
Working Hours
Five 8-hour shifts per week
One to two nights of call per week
Weekend call approximately 1:4 to 1:5, including rounding
Full-time coverage
