Job description
We are seeking a General Cardiologist for a locum tenens position in Potsdam, New York. This is a solo practice opportunity with coverage floating between two acute care hospital locations. Please see below for more information.
- Level III Trauma Center
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
• Supervise stress tests approximately one day per week
• Provide inpatient consults and cover the stress lab
• Read the nuclear portion of stress tests as needed
• Participate in the hospital consult service rotation on an ad hoc basis
• Float between two facility locations for outpatient clinic, stress test supervision, and hospital consults
• Provide on-call coverage as needed, including call-back response
Qualifications
• Active New York medical license in hand
• Epic EMR experience
• AHA or RQI certification
Working Hours
Five 8-hour shifts per week
On-call coverage 4:00 PM – 8:00 AM as needed
Full-time preferred; minimum two weeks per month considered
Two-weeks-on / two-weeks-off block scheduling can be considered
