We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiologist to provide inpatient hospital coverage in a collaborative and well-supported practice setting.
Position Details
- Practice Setting: Hospital
- Patient Population: Adult
- Specialty: Cardiology
- EMR: EPIC
- Coverage Need: Minimum of 1 week per month plus 1 weekend per month, as scheduling requires
- Shifts do not need to be consecutive
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient cardiology consults upon request
- Perform evaluation and management (E&M) services
- Read and interpret echocardiograms and nuclear cardiology studies performed in the hospital
- Manage and provide care for patients admitted under Cone Health HeartCare
- Maintain a manual log of all charges and services provided
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
- Active state license preferred
- Experience with inpatient cardiology consults and cardiac imaging interpretation
- Comfortable working within an EPIC EMR environment
