General Cardiologist | New York | Clinic & Call

We are seeking a Board Certified General Cardiologist for a locum opportunity in Northern New York. This assignment offers a predominantly outpatient practice with stress test supervision, inpatient consults, and optional call coverage. Full-time coverage is preferred, but providers available for at least two weeks per month are encouraged to apply.

Assignment Details

• Start: ASAP (anticipated September 2026)
• 6–9 month assignment
• Full-time preferred
• Minimum availability: 2 weeks per month

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Optional after-hours call (4:00 PM–8:00 AM)

Practice Setting

• Outpatient Cardiology Clinic
• Hospital Consult Service
• Epic EMR

Clinical Responsibilities

• Outpatient cardiology clinic (approximately 3 days per week)
• Supervise cardiac stress tests (approximately 1 day per week)
• Inpatient cardiology consults
• Stress lab coverage
• Hospital consult service as needed
• Optional call coverage
• Reading the nuclear portion of stress tests is preferred but not required

• Outpatient clinic and stress testing
• Hospital consult service

Team Structure

• Solo cardiology practice
• APP support
• Independent practice environment

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified in Cardiology
• Active New York medical license
• Epic experience required
• AHA or RQI certifications required
• Ability to independently manage an outpatient cardiology practice

Credentialing Requirements

• No malpractice claims preferred
