Electrophysiology Cardiology Opening - Indianapolis Position Details

  • Full-time, permanent
  • Seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist who specializes in Electrophysiology
  • Interested candidate will join large, equal shares, multi-specialty team of twenty-nine cardiologists, two cardiac hospitalists, and twenty-six advanced practice providers.
  • Ideal candidate will have imaging experience, a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
  • Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff.
  • Physician will need to work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members within our Cardiology service line to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
  • Schedule: Monday ‚Äì Friday, 7:00 a.m. ‚Äì 5:00 p.m.; with hospital rotation 1:3 - Saturday, 7:00 a.m. ‚Äì 11:00 a.m. (2 times per year to provide patient access) - Evening hours, 5:00 p.m. ‚Äì 7:00 p.m. (2 times per year to provide patient access)
  • EP Call Coverage only
  • Average clinic volume: 22 patients per day
  • Average inpatient volume: 15 ‚Äì 20
  • High volumes ‚Äì average 200+ cases per year
  • State-of-the-art labs: - Boston Scientific Opal Mapping with Farapulse PFA system - Biosense Webster Cartosound Mapping system with GE recording system, with connectivity to perform cryoballoon cases as well
  • Procedures: - Permanent Pacemaker implants - Pacemaker Lead extractions - Leadless Pacemaker implants - ICD implants - Left Atrial Appendage Closure - Ablations: Atrial Fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, SVT, VT Cryoablation
Qualifications: Doctorate - Required Physician License (MD/DO) - Upon Hire Required - and - Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate) - Upon Hire Required Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Upon Hire Required Compensation/Benefits Health Group strives to create a flexible and realistic work-life balance for our providers.
