Interventional Cardiology Locum Opportunity

Aya is seeking a qualified Interventional Cardiologist for a part-time hospital-based opportunity. This assignment offers a collaborative team environment, manageable patient volume, and the opportunity to perform a wide range of interventional procedures.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
- Weeknight Call: 5:00 PM - 8:30 AM
- Weekend Call: 24-hour coverage
Practice Details
- Inpatient setting
- Adult and Geriatric patient population
- Average of 5 patients per day
- EMR: Epic
- Team of 7 Physicians and 6 NP/PA providers
Procedures & Responsibilities
Physician will provide comprehensive interventional cardiology coverage, including:
- Invasive and interventional coronary catheterizations
- Right heart catheterizations (Swan-Ganz placement)
- Temporary pacemaker placements
- Intra-aortic balloon pump placements
- STEMI coverage
- Emergency cardiovascular interventions while on call
