Job description
We are seeking a General Cardiologist for a locum tenens position with Rochester Regional Health - St. Lawrence Region in Potsdam, New York. The provider will float between Massena Hospital (outpatient clinic and stress test supervision) and Canton-Potsdam Hospital (hospital consult service). Please see below for more information.
- Solo practice cardiology role
- Epic EMR
- Outpatient clinic approximately 3 days per week
- Supervising stress tests approximately 1 day per week
- Inpatient consults and stress lab
- 6-9 month assignment; floats between two facilities
Job Responsibilities
• Supervise stress tests (approximately 1 day per week)
• Provide inpatient consults and stress lab coverage
• Provide on-call coverage (4p-8a, as needed)
• Read nuclear portion of stress tests as needed (preferred, not required)
• Participate in hospital consult service rotation (ad hoc)
• Float between Massena Hospital and Canton-Potsdam Hospital
Qualifications
• Board Certified to read cardiac imaging studies (nuclear stress tests preferred, not required)
• Preferably more than 5 years of experience
• New York license in hand required
• Epic experience required
• AHA or RQI certifications
