• Seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Cardiologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity.
• Coverage includes a combination of outpatient clinic, inpatient consults, hospital call, and cardiac diagnostic testing.
• Provider must be available to work 1–2 weeks per month and maintain flexibility with scheduling.
• Opportunity to work within a collaborative cardiology practice utilizing Epic EMR.
• Temporary privileges available for providers with a clean credentialing file.

Job Responsibilities
• Perform hospital consultations and inpatient cardiology evaluations.
• Interpret and oversee echocardiograms (Echos) and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs).
• Supervise and interpret nuclear cardiac testing as needed.
• Participate in hospital call coverage and respond to cardiology consults.
• Develop treatment plans and coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR.
Qualifications
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology.
• Active Pennsylvania Medical License or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand.
• Active DEA Registration required.
• Strong experience in general cardiology, inpatient consults, and diagnostic testing.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.
Working Hours
• Call Week: Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM (24-hour call coverage).
• Must be available for 1–2 weeks per month.
• Ongoing 13-week assignment with extension potential.
• Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 120 days (temporary privileges available for qualified candidates).
