Seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist for PRN STEMI call coverage in Los Angeles, CA.
⚠️ STEMI experience is required. Providers without recent STEMI coverage experience will not be considered.
Job Responsibilities
• STEMI call coverage
• Emergency Department consults
• Inpatient cardiology consults
• General cardiology call support for nursing staff and patient management questions
• Must respond onsite for STEMI procedures as needed
Qualifications
• Interventional Cardiology experience
• Recent STEMI call experience required
• Comfortable with emergency cardiac interventions and acute inpatient cardiology coverage
This is an excellent opportunity for interventional cardiologists looking for flexible PRN STEMI coverage in a high-acuity setting.
Working Hours
• 24-hour call coverage: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
• PRN coverage only
• Shifts released approximately one month in advance
• Flexible, as-needed scheduling
Skills
• Typically 5–6 consults per day
• Can exceed 15 consults per day depending on volume
