We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Cardiologist for a long-term locum tenens assignment supporting a high-volume cardiology program at Ohio.
This role offers two possible clinical tracks: cardiac testing/reading or inpatient cardiology rounding coverage. The ideal provider is experienced in advanced cardiac diagnostics, comfortable in a fast-paced setting, and able to support both procedural and interpretive cardiology workflows.

Job Responsibilities
1. Cardiac Testing & Reading Track
Supervision and interpretation of cardiovascular testing
Support high daily diagnostic volumes including stress tests, echocardiograms, EKGs, and TEE
Perform and interpret TEE, tilt table testing, and manage conscious sedation
Work closely with cardiology support staff in a high-throughput lab setting

2. Inpatient Cardiology Rounding Track
Inpatient cardiology rounding and consultative care
Collaboration with independent NP for patient management
Coordination with cardiovascular testing team
Manage weekday inpatient service responsibilities during assigned blocks
Qualifications
Comfortable with conscious sedation (required for procedural track)
Strong inpatient cardiology experience (required for inpatient rounding track)
Working Hours
Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No weekend call (weekday call only for inpatient track)
Long-term coverage from June 2026 through December 2026 and ongoing needs
Coverage Dates (Inpatient Track):
June 8–12, 2026
June 29 – July 3, 2026
July 6–10, 2026
August 3–7, 2026
August 31 – December 2026
Cardiac Testing Track:
June 1, 2026 – December 2026 (continuous coverage)
Skills
TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography)
Stress testing (including stress echo and dobutamine stress echo)
Tilt table testing
Echocardiograms
EKG interpretation
Ability to manage moderate-to-high volume cardiology workload
Strong communication and collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary team setting
Proficiency working with EMR systems (MediTech experience preferred)
