A healthcare facility in Bellingham, Washington is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist for locum coverage.
Position Details
Compensation:
$300/hr
Specialty: General Cardiology
Provider Type: MD/DO
Practice Setting: Hospital-Based
Coverage Type: Scheduled coverage only
Call Requirement: None
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 1 week per month
Expected Assignment Duration: Approximately 9 months

Clinical Responsibilities
General Cardiology coverage
Rounding and admissions
Cardioversions
Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEEs)
Patient Population & Volume
Adult patients
Average patient volume: 14–46 patients per day

Approximately 247-bed facility
Providers may work independently at times
EMR: Epic
Requirements
Board Certified in Cardiology
Active Washington License required at time of presentation
ACLS certification
BLS certification
DEA required
Epic experience required
Additional Requirements
Providers must demonstrate recent cardiovascular disease clinical activity within the previous 24 months representative of requested privileges
Additional Information
Fast-track credentialing may be requested for qualified licensed candidates
Orientation hours are billable
