• We are seeking a dedicated General Cardiologist for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in Lewisburg, PA.
• This role offers a balanced mix of clinic, procedures, and call responsibilities in a supportive hospital environment.
• Join a collaborative team with APP support and access to interventional cardiology services.
• Work in a well-equipped facility with a consistent patient volume and structured lab schedule.
• Ideal for providers seeking a long-term (minimum 6 months) engagement with competitive compensation and travel support.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform and interpret diagnostic studies including echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests, and cardiac monitoring
• Conduct procedures such as TEE and cardioversions
• Read and interpret nuclear and echo studies (required)
• Participate in call coverage (1–2 nights/week and rotating weekends)
• Collaborate with APPs and interventional cardiology team
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania License or IMLC (Required)
• Valid DEA License
• Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography Board Certification (Required)
• CT reading skills preferred (not mandatory)
• Minimum 1 year of cardiology experience
• Clean credentialing file for expedited processing
Working Hours
• Day Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Includes clinic, procedures, and call responsibilities
• 1–2 nights of call per week
• Weekend call rotation (1:4 to 1:5)
• Start Date: May 18 or June 8, 2026
Skills
• Proficiency in nuclear and echocardiography readings
• Experience with stress testing, TEE, and cardioversions
• Ability to manage patient volume of 17–18 per day
• Excellent clinical judgment and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
