Job Description
We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Cardiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Lewisburg, PA. This role includes a mix of clinic, procedures, and call responsibilities, supporting both outpatient and inpatient cardiology services.
Job Responsibilities
Perform and interpret procedures including:
Stress tests
Echocardiograms
Nuclear studies
Cardioversions and TEE
Manage adult patient population
Participate in call coverage and weekend rounding
Collaborate with APPs and multidisciplinary teams
Document patient care using EPIC EMR
Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania license (or IMLC accepted)
DEA required
Minimum 1+ year of experience
Must be nuclear and echo boarded
CT reading experience preferred (not required)
Working Hours
Day shifts: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Includes clinic, procedures, and on-call coverage
Weekend coverage as part of schedule
Skills
Experience with cardiac diagnostics and procedures
Ability to manage inpatient and outpatient cases
Effective team collaboration and communication
Proficiency in EPIC EMR documentation
