Advanced Cardiac Imaging Medical Director Opening Mooresville, NC
Full Time
Permanent Position
Seeking BC Cardiologist with advanced imaging expertise to serve as Medical Director in Mooresville, North Carolina
Position Highlights:
Leadership role overseeing advanced cardiac imaging program across region
Mix of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities
High-volume ambulatory practice with strong referral base
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including heart failure, interventional cardiology, structural heart, electrophysiology, and cardiothoracic surgery
Participation in regional leadership council and system-level advisory council
Balanced call schedule
System-wide Epic EMR
7 weeks combined PTO and CME after leadership status achieved
Responsibilities:
Lead and grow advanced cardiac imaging program
Interpret advanced imaging studies including coronary CTA, cardiac MRI, and cardiac PET-CT
Provide clinical cardiology care
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Participate in leadership and strategic planning initiatives
Qualifications:
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
Prior leadership experience required
Proficiency in coronary CTA, cardiac MRI, and cardiac PET-CT
Active North Carolina license or ability to obtain
