Position Overview
TMC Health is recruiting a General Cardiologist to join our hospital-based cardiology program at Tucson Medical Center. Physicians will work alongside expert staff with access to state-of-the-art technology supporting cardiovascular testing, procedures, surgery, and rehabilitation.
TMC performs more cardiac procedures than any other hospital in Southern Arizona and is home to one of the most active cardiac rehabilitation programs in Arizona. Our cardiovascular services treat a broad range of conditions, including structural heart disease, heart rhythm and vascular disorders, cardiac catheterization, and cardiac surgery.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide general cardiology services within a comprehensive, hospital‑based cardiovascular program
• Participate in an approximate 75% inpatient / 25% outpatient clinical schedule
• Share call responsibilities as part of a 1:5 rotation
• Collaborate with advanced practitioners and multidisciplinary cardiovascular teams
• Support continuity of care across diagnostic, procedural, and inpatient service lines
Qualifications
• MD or DO required
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Arizona medical license or ability to obtain licensure
Working Hours
• Full‑time position
• Approximate 75% inpatient / 25% outpatient schedule
• Call rotation of 1:5 shared across the group
