We are seeking a Cardiologist for a locum opportunity in Gettysburg, PA. This role offers a balanced schedule of clinic and call coverage, alternating between outpatient clinic weeks and inpatient call weeks.
This is an excellent opportunity for providers looking for a structured rotation with a mix of procedures, consults, and clinic work.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage outpatient cardiology clinic during assigned weeks
• Perform and interpret:
o Echocardiograms (Echo)
o Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
o Nuclear cardiology testing
• Manage approximately 20 patients/day (hospital) and 18 patients/day (clinic)
• Collaborate with medical assistants and care teams
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania license required
• DEA required
• Epic experience required
Working Hours
• Call Week: Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM (24-hour call)
• Schedule Rotation:
o 1 week clinic
o 1 week call
• Ongoing coverage
Skills
• Experience with inpatient consults and call coverage
• Proficiency in cardiac diagnostic procedures (TEE, Echo, Nuclear)
• Strong clinical judgment and teamwork
