Rates: $450/hr

Opportunity Highlights

• Start Date: May 25, 2026.

• Duration: Minimum 6-month commitment preferred.

• Schedule: Monday–Sunday rotation; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8 hours worked).

• Coverage Needed: 1–2 weeks per month with weekend support.

• Support Staff: 1 MD and 1 APP dedicated to Non-Invasive; 24/7 in-house Interventional and EP coverage (MD/APP) available for backup.

• EMR: EPIC.

Clinical Scope & Volume

The physician will manage a high-volume inpatient census and provide rapid diagnostic interpretations to support the hospital’s cardiac services.

• Average Daily Census: 25–35 patients.

• Patient Population: Adults (18+).

• Clinical Skills Required: * Inpatient Cardiology Consultations.

  • Interpretations: Echos, Holter monitors, Stress Testing (including Nukes), and EKGs.

• Special Procedures: Stress Testing, TEE’s (Transesophageal Echocardiograms), and Cardioversions.

• Preferred Skills: Coronary CTA reading certification.

Provider Requirements

• Board Status: Board Certified (BC) in Cardiovascular Disease (Required).

• Licensure: Active Pennsylvania (PA) Medical License in hand (Required). No "willing to license" candidates.

• Certifications: Active ACLS or BLS and DEA (Required).

• Documentation: * NPDB self-query dated within 6 months.

  • Full disclosure of all malpractice history.

  • 7 years of work history or 10 previous assignments.

Credentialing Information

• Standard Timeframe: 90 days minimum.

• Temporary Privileges: Available for true urgent needs with a clean/non-complex file; must be requested at the beginning of the process.

• Gratis: 2 hours of gratis for callback.

• Deadline: Provider must be fully cleared 2 business days prior to the start date.
