Rates: $450/hr

Opportunity Highlights

• Start Date: May 11, 2026 (Ongoing).

• Schedule: Seeking coverage for 1 week + 1 weekend per month.

• Specific Blocks Needed:

  • May: 11–15, 18–22 (Clinic/Days); May 22 (4pm) – May 26 (5pm) (24-Hour Call).

  • June: 8–12, 15–19 (Clinic/Days); June 19 (4pm) – June 22 (7am) (Call).

  • July: July 20 (7am) – July 30 (5pm).

• Shift Times: Typically 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 4:30 PM.

• Support: Working with APPs; interventional backup available.

• EMR: EPIC.

Clinical Scope & Volume

The cardiologist will balance clinical appointments with diagnostic hospital procedures.

• Daily Volume: 17–18 patients per day.

• Setting: Inpatient rounding (3 days per week in lab) and outpatient clinic.

• Call Details: Average callback at night/weekends is 0, though rounding is required on weekends.

• Procedures Required: * Nuclear reads, Stress tests, TEEs (Transesophageal Echocardiograms), Cardioversions, and Echo monitors.

• Preferred Skills: CT reads.

Provider Requirements

• Board Status: BC/BE in Cardiovascular Disease (Required).

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year post-fellowship experience.

• Licensure: Active Pennsylvania (PA) License in hand (Required). IMLC is accepted.

• Certifications: DEA (PA address required for registration).

• Documentation: * NPDB self-query dated within 6 months.

  • Full disclosure of all malpractice history.

  • 7 years of work history or 10 previous assignments.

Credentialing Information

• Timeframe: Standard process is approx. 90 days.

• Temporary Privileges: Available only for "true urgent needs" and non-complex/clean files; must be approved at the start of the process.

• Deadline: Providers must be fully cleared 2 business days before the start date.
