General Cardiology Opportunity in Paintsville / Prestonsburg, KY
A regional healthcare system in Eastern Kentucky is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiologist to join an established and growing cardiology program. This is a full-time, hospital-employed opportunity offering strong compensation, a built-in referral base, and a balanced workload.
Practice Details
Full-time employed General Cardiology position
Established practice with strong referral network
Service area population of approximately 750,000
Access to a large network of ambulatory clinics and specialty services
Balanced schedule with equitable call rotation
Modern outpatient clinic setting with advanced diagnostic capabilities
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide general cardiology care in outpatient and inpatient settings
Diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiovascular conditions
Interpret diagnostic studies including EKGs, echocardiograms, and imaging
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive cardiac care
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Support & Resources
Established referral base with strong primary care and specialty support
Access to cardiovascular services including vascular care and heart failure clinic
On-site diagnostic services including lab, X-ray, and ultrasound
Integrated healthcare system with multiple specialty services available
Compensation & Benefits

Requirements
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
