We are seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine – Cardiology physician for an inpatient, call-only locum opportunity in Pennsylvania. This is a great chance to provide specialised cardiac care in a dynamic hospital setting, managing a variety of complex cases with the support of a dedicated team.
Practice Setting: Inpatient
Coverage Type: Call Only (Beeper)
Patients per Shift: Approximately 20
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 20 days
Flexible call shifts with predictable coverage expectations

Job Responsibilities
Call Response Time: 30 minutes
Average Calls per 24 Hours: Phone consults ~15, Admissions ~8
Call Ratio: 1 in 3
Percentage of Patients Requiring Call-Back: ~20%
Patients Seen per Call Shift: 20
Locum Coverage: Both ICU and Non-ICU settings
Qualifications
Board-certified in Internal Medicine – Cardiology
ACLS & BLS certified
Strong clinical and communication skills for inpatient and consultative care
Working Hours
Call Type: Beeper
Call Response Time: 30 minutes
Average Calls per 24 Hours: Phone consults ~15, Admissions ~8
