1. MD/DO Degree
Salary - $500K-$800K depending upon experience/qualifications.
Summary/Objective
Diagnosing, treating and preventing cardiovascular disease through patient exams, ordering/interpreting tests, developing treatment plans, patient education and collaboration with other medical professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Essential Functions

1. Conduct physical exams, take detailed medical histories and examine/listen to patient symptoms.
2. Order and interpret cardiac tests (ECG, EKG, echocardiogram, stress test, cardiac MRI, angiograms) to diagnose heart and vascular conditions.
3. Develop personalized plans including medication, lifestyle modifications and potential procedures based on the needs of the patient assessment.
4. Interpret test results and address a patient’s risk for certain conditions and make informed diagnoses.
5. Counsel patients on managing chronic conditions, preventing heart disease and making lifestyle changes.
6. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
7. Maintain accurate patient health records.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Licenses/Certifications
1. MD/DO Degree
2. Valid Illinois Medical License (or ability to obtain IL Medical License)
